Julia Andrighetti
Yoga Instructor
Julia Andrighetti (she/her) is a curious mover by nature- whether that is in the form of travel or treks around the world, in nature, in dance form, in the gym, or on a yoga mat. She is an experienced yoga instructor trained in a wide array of yoga formats, somatics, and mobility, and creatively fuses her depth of knowledge and life experiences into classes that are playful and curious.
Drawing on her expertise in how body-mind-breath interactions influence movement, Julia provides a vibrant space for students to explore embodiment and mindfulness, deepen their self-understanding, and enhance their practice.
“Growing up I enjoyed meditative and mindfulness practices while I found joy in movement through my ballet training, it wasn’t until 2019 that I embraced asana and a regular yoga practice.
In my past, I often felt disconnected from my own body. Through yoga, I've found home in my body and I desire to help guide others to this sense of empowerment and self-belonging.
The classroom/studio has always been a cathartic space for me, a haven of guidance and collective energy—a mutual exchange of giving and receiving. As an instructor, my aim is to skillfully walk alongside you in your practice, creating space for your inner wisdom to expand, as you arrive at a greater sense of Self—body, breath, mind, being.
I also teach Kids yoga here at Yoga Sanctuary! I’m inspired by the inherent wisdom of youth and believe that with the right support and guidance through yoga, young yogis are empowered to blossom and shine. My hope is to empower youth to be able to connect to themselves and the world around them as they learn to tune into their bodies, breath, and minds, exploring freedom, flow, and FUN!”
