Family Yoga Retreat

in Hayward WI

Time for meaningful connection!

Hosted by Tracy Vacura, her husband Dave + daughter Beatrix
at their family's newly-renovated lodge in Hayward, WI

Why Family Yoga? Let's face it--conflicts and differences make it hard to be together as a family sometimes. In my own family, we've been wondering how we can nurture the groundwork to grow a fertile family relationship so that we can stay connected and grow together, rather than apart.

Family Yoga Retreat Includes:

  • Lodging for 3 nights for 3-4 people among the huge pine trees near Hayward WI

  • Swimming and pontoon boat rides on the beautiful clear waters of Round Lake in summer

  • Sledding or options for cross-country skiing and fat biking on world-class trails in winter

  • 3 breakfasts and 3 dinner meals shared communally

  • 5 sessions of yoga + mindfulness time together (each morning and evening)

  • Dave, Tracy + Beatrix as your guides as you explore outdoor fun together like hiking + biking

Free Time together each afternoon!

with options for hosted events where we show you our favorite trails and fun spots, and offer as much guidance as you’d like. We'll help hook you up with rentals if you need equipment as well.

  • swim in the lake, ride the pontoon boat, take the kayaks or SUP for a peaceful ride on the lake in summer

  • fat tire biking, hiking, cross-country skiing on world-class trails

  • wandering around in nature

  • go out to eat and shop nostalgic downtown Hayward

  • Visit Cable's Natural History Museum with great exhibits for kids - this town has fantastic hiking + restaurants as well!

  • Tracy, Dave + Beatrix have vacationed here for over a decade and are happy to guide + host your free time as you desire. We can help arrange rental equipment for fat tire biking or skiing if needed as well.

Eating and Connecting together

Many meals are included - communal eating tends to create opportunity for connections that we might miss otherwise. Breakfast and dinner are included each day. All meals will be vegetarian, and you can let us know if you have food needs (gluten-free, vegan, etc). We are making the meals to make it easier on you, but this is a judgment-free zone so feel free to eat what works best for you and your family!

Lunch is on your own. There is a spacious kitchen and 2 full-size fridges, so you can bring your own food for lunch and snacks. You can also choose to eat at Powell’s, a restaurant onsite. Our lodge is a 10-15 minute drive from many other restaurants.

About the Lodge

The Lodge has 3 bedrooms designed for families. Each room has a queen-sized bed and built-in bunk beds with full-size mattresses. These rooms sleep 3-4 people. You can choose who your family is for this retreat- maybe this is one parent and 2 kids, or a favorite aunt and their nephew and that nephew’s friend, or 2 grandparents and their 2 kiddos. If you only have 2 folks in your party, or have more than 4, talk to Tracy directly and we’ll figure out the best way to swing it.

We look forward to being together with you,
making time for intentional connections
with our families, each other and Nature!
