Book & Body Series: Social Justice for the Sensitive Soul
June 24, July 8, July 15, Aug 5, Aug 19 | with Garrett Kling
Are you someone who feels deeply and wants to engage in social justice work, but sometimes feels overwhelmed or unsure where to start? Do you crave a gentle, embodied way to explore activism and awareness in community?
Join Garrett Kling for a summer Book & Body series centered around Dorcas Cheng-Tozunβs book Social Justice for the Sensitive Soul. This series is designed for those who want to stay engaged in justice work while honoring their sensitive nature and inner rhythms. Each gathering will include group discussion, mindful yoga practice, and space to reflect on how we can show up authentically and sustainably in this time. Together we will discover ways we can engage with the needs of the world through our gifts and talents.
Ignite the transformative and healing power of yoga β together
The practice of yoga tells us that everything we need for peace and wholeness is already inside us, but living and practicing yoga is best done in the context of a supportive community. Together, we will work to ignite the transformative and healing power of being fully present in our bodies and in our lives.

Giving Yoga to All
As a holistic, nonprofit, neighborhood studio in South Minneapolis, we are committed to increasing access to safe, fun, relational yoga for ALL who desire it. We intentionally keep our class and workshop prices as low as possible, but this is still not affordable for some folks. There is an increased sense of division in our culture, including yoga. The heart and soul of yoga is to UNIFY β within ourselves, outwardly with others and expansively with the Divine/Creation/Universe.
We have outreach yoga programs in which we subsidize yoga for individuals and groups. We invite you to join us in SHARING ABUNDANTLY. If you share our values and want to help others find inner and outer healing through yoga, please donate.
